Situations in which parents dispute child abuse allegations and concerns about their behaviour are a constant source of frustration for children's services agencies, practitioners, courts, and other professionals involved in safeguarding work.
This series of five continuous learning sessions will draw on the systemic theory, practice methods and micro skills of the Resolutions Approach to build the professional skills required to work creatively and collaboratively with disputed child abuse. These learning sessions will assist both local authority and independent social workers and managers to better utilise Resolutions’ ideas and methods whether in assessments, in applying the whole approach or using some element of it in their practice.
Each session will focus on current cases brought forward by a participant that will always be kept completely deidentified.…
